Trades Instructor
North Bend High School
"Along with blueprint reading, students learn to use transits, build scale models of building sites and learn about topography. There are a lot of measurements and readings and technical skills involved. They weatherize and insulate. They get to solder and join pipes. They learn a lot of angle cuts. They work on base and trim details. They build a full scale cabinet box with a functinng door. And they do an estimation of building a house from the ground up."
