Our Global Learning Center partner, Lee County Schools, features seven labs using our learning systems.
Lee County Schools in NC Is Making Great Progress
As a partner of Lee County Schools (LCS), we are very proud of the significant increases in the LCS graduation rate and student achievement. Since LCS became the home of our Global Learning Center in 2009, graduation rates increased from 70.7% to 80.4%. During the 2010/2011 school year 48% of 8th graders completed Algebra 1 with 94% testing proficient plus 41% of 8th graders completed English I with 99% testing proficient.
I invite you to visit our Global Learning Center at LCS. We conduct monthly tours of our learning systems in vibrant school settings providing opportunities to observe and interact with educators, administrators and students.

Lee County Schools
Hundreds of Lee County students are actively engaged every day in learning programs from PAXTON/PATTERSON. As a Global Learning Center (GLC) attendee you will have an opportunity to interact with principals, teachers and students as you explore how these programs help students meet the requirements of state and national standards. You will also hear how the Lee County Schools are preparing students for success.
Southern Lee High School
Southern Lee High School is home to CAREERplus, CAREERplus2 and BuildingSkills.
CAREERplus, CAREERplus2, and BuildingSkills are key contributors to the school district's success at "bridging the gap" between high school, college and careers.
San Lee Middle School
On a tour of our Global Learning Center, you will see how San Lee Middle School has integrated the ActionLAB modules with science, language arts, and math.
You will visit Growing up Ready (Family & Consumer Sciences) labs that teach students important skills for living.
East Lee & West Lee Middle Schools
East Lee Middle School and West Lee Middle School are home to our Paxton ActionLABS program. A multimedia and hands-on program designed for middle school students that fosters growth in three key areas: technological awareness, academic performance, and social development.
