Paxton/Patterson currently offers four articulated STEM programs that are sequential and developmental. All of our programs focus on building 21st century skills including: teamwork, initiative, problem solving, self-direction, and career development.

STEM Train (Gr 3-5)

Keeping the non-specialist instructor in mind, we have made it easy to incorporate STEM lessons that promote NGSS and support Common Core State Standards for Math and Reading/Writing. We provide everything needed for each lesson. The instructor simply introduces the lesson, distributes the student guidebooks and supplies, and then facilitates discovery, problem-solving, and creative thinking.

ActionLabs (Gr 6-9)

Starting with our ActionLABS program, middle school students learn to use and manage technology through our interactive multimedia STEM program.

CAREERplus (Gr 9-10)

In CAREERplus, our 9th and 10th grade program, students work in small teams and are introduced to the concept of design briefs and case studies. They consider a wide range of career pathways in technical and engineering related occupations.

CAREERplus 2 (Gr 11-12)

Our capstone program, CAREERplus 2 for 11th and 12th grades, takes students through a rigorous 180-day STEM program with an emphasis on engineering. Students engage in the work of engineers and engineering support technicians.
