Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math Education (STEM)
Paxton/Patterson currently offers four articulated STEM programs that are sequential and developmental. All of our programs focus on building 21st century skills including: teamwork, initiative, problem solving, self-direction, and career development.
Keeping the non-specialist instructor in mind, we have made it easy to incorporate STEM lessons that promote NGSS and support Common Core State Standards for Math and Reading/Writing. We provide everything needed for each lesson. The instructor simply introduces the lesson, distributes the student guidebooks and supplies, and then facilitates discovery, problem-solving, and creative thinking.
