Family & Consumer Science Education
Growing Up Ready starts by teaching students the kinds of life skills they'll need for the rest of their lives. We call Growing Up Ready "the sciences for life and living."
What makes Growing Up Ready an effective learning system?
It starts with great content... Each of the 16 Integrated Instructional Units (IIUs) reinforces core academic skills while exposing students to current career opportunities. Throughout the learning system, students will incorporate technology while gaining knowledge and skills they need to be successfull at home, in school and at work. The IIUs include content to help students learn to cope with social issues, overcome obstacles, and gain valuable life skills.
